We are thrilled to have gotten a grant from COMFEST IN 2012!  And Guitar Center nationally sponsored all of the camps in the Girls Rock Camp Alliance again which we are a member of.  We got gear from Planet Waves,  D'Addario, Evans, Pro Mark, & Hearos with guitar strings, drum keys, drumsticks, workbooks, picks, keyboard cables, ear plugs, a guitar from Daisy Rock, gift cards for all the staff & students & $ to buy music equipment needed for the camp at Guitar Center!  The Women's Fund donated awesome bags for us to use at camp!   Food is a must & we are so grateful to the following for providing us with meals:  Union Cafe, Dirty Franks, Stonewall, Jason's Deli, Letha Pugh & Wendy, Marie, Ken, Barry, Peanut, Chris, Za, & Wahru.  

Our 2013  Camps will be held July 22nd-27th & July 29th-Aug. 3rd at Hoover Y Park 1570 Rohr Rd Lockbourne Ohio, just east of Columbus. We are an overnight music camp for girls ages 8 to 18.  Workshops on songwriting, drumming, vocal techniques, performance and more.  Campers will write songs, learn to perform them as a band, concluding with a show & pot luck at noon July 27th & Aug. 3rd.  Besides the above workshops, you will also develop a band name & logo, make publicity flyers, etc.  No experience necessary if you have a desire to learn & participate!  Tuition is $350. for the week with some full & partial scholarships available.
